Midsummer 8K

The Midsummer 8K 2025, a fantastic, flat, fast course in beautiful Kelowna, BC. Hit the streets of this beautiful city as you follow a winding out-and-back course along the shore of Lake Okanagan. The route has no major intersections and mostly follows a dedicated bike path so this is the perfect opportunity to get out there and test your limits!

The Midsummer 8K Race has been a stalwart of the Kelowna Running Club and Interior Running Association road race series, in varying forms and over various courses, for over 30 years. This year’s race returns as the 8K Championship race of the BC Athletics Road Running Championship and is a ranking event for World Athletics.
